Location of the hotel directly opposite the train station was so convenient. Also plenty of taxis right outside. We liked being able to have a light breakfast until 11.30 rather than having to eat a large breakfast in the dining room. Our room had a lovely view over the garden and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loads of hot water as well and air conditioning made the room a delight. The staff were very attentive and Eliza spent time with us when we checked in showing us a map of Chester and the locations we wanted to visit.

Sheila

Opposite the station , period property, nice courtyard in centre would be lovely on a fine day. Our room was upgraded and very spacious though oddly themed on Kubla Khan. Breakfast prebooked was £15 and of good quality , fresh fruit, cooked breakfast self service was on open dishes so did not have the sweaty greasiness of many hotel breakfasts. Good range of small pastries and bread , very fresh and pancake station,

The hotel is close to the centre of Chester, situated by the train station. It's easily walkable to the centre, only 5 minutes walk. The room was great for the price, (£80 for one night), there's a huge amount of rooms at this hotel, but it was still fairly quiet. Breakfast was good too, it's buffet style with a lot of choice, both continental options and traditional full English breakfast options too.

Mpinfold

The 1940s vibe decor is stunningg opulent. It seems to have been refurbished to a high standard. Beautiful open fire crackling away in the fireplace. Felt like home! The staff are absolutely wonderful people, they went above and beyond. Very professional indeed. Mexi the chap with the hoover, helped me with directions. Jason behind the bar is wonderful host indeed.

Muriel

Great hotel close to the centre, the staff were friendly, great size room for a family, and the breakfast had a good selection. Within walking distance of the centre and easy parking close to the hotel. Lovely touch of crisps and chocolate in the room on arrival and the cleaning staff were friendly checking in if we needed anything else, overall a great hotel to stay at!
